Borjomi-Kharagauli was the first national park created in independent Georgia and remains one of the largest protected areas in Europe, spanning six municipalities across the country’s forested spine. It sits above Borjomi, the spa town famous for the mineral water that flows straight from the tap.
The park is built for walkers: twelve marked trails from short day loops to serious multi-day traverses, with tourist shelters, fire pits and camping and picnic spots along the way. Rangers register you at the visitor centre, and we plan the route, the gear and the pickup at the far end.
