Khasheria is the flagship of Tekuna Gachechiladze, one of the chefs who dragged Georgian dining into the present. Reopened in 2026 back in its original Abanotubani home — steps from Meidan and the sulphur baths — it has a casual, glass-kitchen feel.

The cooking marries Georgian roots with Asian accents — the kitchen half-jokes that it serves 'anti-hangover' food — and khinkali appear at weekends.

What to order

Chveneburi khinkali
Dumplings with soy and ginger, steamed in a bamboo basket — the signature crossover (weekends).
Khashi
The restorative tripe soup the place takes its name from.
Veal kharcho on polenta
A rich, spiced veal dish over soft polenta.
Reinvented pkhali
The walnut classic turned into a tahini-smooth, hummus-like dip.
Why we send guests here

It is a short, characterful walk from the baths, so we pair it with a bathing morning — smart cooking in a relaxed room from one of the country's most respected chefs. Khinkali are a weekend-only treat.
